Why I built this
I play dynasty fantasy football, and I take it seriously — draft night prep, weekly matchup research, all of it.
But life doesn't stop for fantasy football. I've missed waiver windows because I was in a meeting. I've started a bye-week player because I forgot to check my lineup in time. All that effort during the season, undone by a five-minute window I wasn't paying attention to.
I built Basement Butler because I got tired of that happening. Now the alerts that actually matter — injuries, waiver windows, trade opportunities — land straight in my WhatsApp, so a busy week doesn't cost me a season.
If you put in the work on your roster, you shouldn't lose because of a missed notification. That's the whole idea behind this.
